The only comparison I can make is the insane/snap decision to do The Gong Show in ‘77. It was all a blur and a very foreign experience (thank god!) But hardly a lifelong dream or 1/1,000,000th as exalted a goal as Jeopardy! Hollywood is weird.

My attempt to send you “Abu Dhabi” and “Mister Roberts” via telepathy obviously failed, but you remained competitive and persevered to the very end. Congratulations!
